Update – The New Journey

It has been a while since my last posting.  A lot has happened and I wanted to share.

We continue to follow the path I AM has said to follow, me not working and The Hubs on 45% pay reduction.  Actually it is 50% as of recently.  Amazingly the finances are working out and we haven’t changed our tithing amount regardless of income.  If you look at Malachi 3:10:

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (NIV)

I AM is pretty clear, He will provide!  We have received blessings beyond what we could imagine.  Blessings of a stronger marriage, stronger bonding of our children/family, stronger communication and conflict resolution skills.

I like to use the comparison of a couple married for 50+ years and they enter retirement, together, after years of working independent jobs.  There will be times of confusion, tension and misunderstandings as the couple increase time together.  Instead of the man running out the door at 5:00am to work, he is crawling out of bed at 9:00am while the woman is already doing a load of laundry at 7:30am.  Each has their own set agendas without talking to one another.  Granted, when they were married, they became one flesh (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 5:31) yet sometimes the hands don’t talk to the stomach.  And this is what happened to us.

After several tears and frustration talks, we are on a different road.  A better road.  The kids look forward to The Hubs being home as do I.  We might not be able to go out to eat as much but overall we are a stronger unit.

And every door I knock on for me to reenter the work force is not answered.  I believe I AM wants me exactly where I am.  Home.

And as I am home, He is returning me to the Garden of Eden.  Taking me back to the beginning where I AM created everything necessary for man to survive and thrive, before modern man.  I AM put everything in that garden.  Why have we ventured so far away from nature?  Why do we automatically turn to modern man, or what I call “Google” for instant gratification?  Why don’t we turn to I AM for everything?

Part of these last few months involved me learning more about eczema.  My preemie is battling a skin rash that doctor’s have labeled eczema.  After reading western, eastern and modern medicine approaches to treating eczema, I turned to I AM and the Garden of Eden.  And based on I AM’s guidance, we are treating the eczema naturally with herbs and homemade lotions.  It is only 2 weeks into treatment however I know I AM will heal my preemie.  And I will learn how to return to Eden and stray away from modern medicine.  More to come, join me on this journey.
